Obituary from The Billings Gazette, Billings, Montana, Tuesday, August 26, 1947, page 6: Heart Ailment Fatal to Woman. Mrs. Lemmon's Rites Are Scheduled Today. Mrs. Harriet Elizabeth Lemmon, who had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Helen Burkholder at 114 South Twenty-ninth street, died in a Billings hospital at 2 a.m. Monday. Mrs. Lemmon had been suffering a heart ailment for several months. She was born Nov. 19, 1882, in Audubon, Iowa, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Fiscus. In 1902 she was married at Audubon to Charles W. Lemmon who died in 1944 in Arizona. The went to Roundup in 1914 to homestead and subsequently moved to Bearcreek. They came to Billings in October 1942. Funeral services will be conducted at Settergren's chapel at 1 p.m. Tuesday and the body will be taken to Audubon for burial beside the body of her husband. Surviving besides Mrs. Burkholder, are a son, John W. Lemmon of Yeadon, Pa.; a granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Michaelson and Mrs. Millie Michaelson, both of Holland, Iowa, and a brother, Horace Fiscus of Bumble Bee, Ariz.
