He was born December 26, 1889. Surviving are his wife, Ruth; six sons, Everett , Pine River, Gaylord, Ely, George, Danville, Ill., Don, Pine River, Paul, Phoenix, Ariz., and John, Fargo, N. D.; two daughters, Mary Jones, Backus, and Priscilla Wakelam, Parma, Idaho; 30 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mildred Bible Chapel. The Rev. Ben Tuininga and Jack Smith will officiate with interment in the Pine Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Northland Funeral Home in Pine River beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday and at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
