Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Castle, 81, 2217 Main St., Cedar Falls, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Barr, pastor of First Methodist Church, Dike, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Castle died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Schoiz Memorial Hospital of a heart attack. She was born Aug. 5, 1888, in Nebraska, the daughter of William and Louise Smith Star. She married Claude [Clyde] Castle Oct. 1, 1908. Mrs. Castle lived in Waterloo 52 years. She is survived by one son, Vernon B. of Tucson, Ariz.; one daughter, Mrs. R. E. Bryan of 2217 Main St., Cedar Falls; one sister, Mrs. Angie Rhone of Hot Springs, Mont.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Castle was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
