Seattle Daily Times, Seattle, Washington, February 28, 1960, Page 31: Mrs. Wilbur J. Stanhope. Mrs. Ruth S. Stanhope, 69, wife of Wilburn J. Stanhope an electrical contractor, died Friday at her home, 1310 1/2 E. Pike St. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow in the Johnson & Sons chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen. Mrs. Stanhope was born in Glenwood Springs, Colo. She had resided here 40 years and assisted her husband in his business. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. John Walters, North Hollywood, Calif.; a son, Raymond J. Stanhope, Bothell; a sister Mrs. Mae Simmons, Everett, and a grandchild.
