Mrs. Clason was born in Fond du Lac, Wis. on February 12, 1898 and was a Burlington resident since 1938. She was united in marriage to William Clason on December 26, 1919. She was a retired employee of Burlington Mills. Mrs. Clason was a member of the United Methodist Church, Burlington. President of the senior Methodists, Methodist Womens Society of the Church, also American Legion Auxiliary of Burlington. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lester (Ruth) Whitmore, Burlington, Mrs. Herbert (Hazel) Sheard, Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. James (Fern) Montague, Sacramento, California; two sons, Elmer, Wauwatosa, Ralph, La Crosse, Wis.; 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Anne Mueller, Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Mary Maxfield, Burlington, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, on October 8,1936, her parents, four brothers, one sister, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 1973 at 11 a.m. in the United Methodist Church, Burlington, the Rev. Arthur North will officiate. Interment will be in Honey Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Schuette-Werth & Daniels Funeral Home, 157 S. Pine St., Burlington and at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services on Friday.
