Bar-B-Que and Potluck immediately following at Woody Community Hall. Born the 9th child to Bautista and Frances Albitre at Poso Flat. Jim was known by hundreds of friends around the community. He was a very blessed man. He went to work at the age of 15 for Oscar Rudnick at Kern Valley Packing, he was there till he became partners with Dean Bryant in Magunden Lockers in 1954. He retired when he was 84 years old. He loved his horses and the western type of life. He adored going to family reunions and to the many brandings. It gave him such new life. He was also the President of the Kern County 4H for two consecutive terms. He was also the community leader for Magunden 4H. He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Remick, Anastacio, and Bautista Jr.; sisters, Mary Albitre, Julia Gomez, Ysidra Sarrett, Lutie Avilez, and Catherine Chavarria. Jim is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 27 years, Nell Albitre; son, James Raymond and wife, Terri Albitre; stepsons, Kevin, Ryan, and Archie Gibson and families: granddaughter, Roena Thomas; great-grandson, Cody Thomas; daughter, Sandy Trincado and husband, Sam; grandchildren, Javier, Pilar and Angel Trincado; stepgrandchildren, AJ, Blake, and Brock Gibson. Special Thank You to great-niece, Andrea Albitre and great-nephew, Gene Albitre, great-niece, Judie Bernard, and niece, Rosemary Albitre. He loved all his family and ALL meant so much to him and they all contributed to his long strong lifestyle. Daisy Nell considered it an honor and privilege to have been his wife.
