Spielman, 73 years old, 805 North hall street, died at 4 o'clock this afternoon in Joplin General hospital where he had been a patient since suffering a heart attack at his home on August 31. A retired truck driver, he had resided here since 1938 and was a former city councilman of the Fourth ward and a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Born March 14, 1882 in Iowa, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sutor Spielman. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Edna Spielman; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Peck of Joplin; seven nephews and two nieces. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Hedge-Lewis funeral home.
