Funeral services for Barney Alva Rentfro, 73, of Mulkeytown, were at 2 p.m. today at the Gilbert Funeral Home, Christopher. The Rev. Gene Fox officiated. Burial was in the Mulkeytown Cemetery. Mr. Rentfro died at 11 a.m. Sunday in Miners Hospital, Christopher. He was born Sept. 12, 1895 in Mulkeytown, the son of Augusta and Ellen Lefler Rentfro. He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Kirkpatrick; a daughter, Mrs. Eileen Baer of Hot Springs, Ark., a son, Robert, of Washington, Ill.; a sister Mrs. EveaVan Zandt of Mulkeytown; brothers, Paul of Zeigler and A. E. "Bud" of Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
