Willie Bruce Musgrove

Quanah Tribune Chief, Quanah, Texas, Thursday, June 29, 1972, Page 7, Cols. 7 & 8: W. Musgrove Rites Held. Mr. Willie Bruce Musgrove, age 67, and a retired railroad employee for the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad, died Tuesday June 26, in Quanah after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 28 at 4 p.m. in Knowles Memorial Chapel with the Rev. W. D. McReynolds, pastor of the Quanah First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was at Quanah Memorial Park under direction of Knowles Funeral Home.

Mr. Musgrove was born Dec. 11, 1904 in Alvord, Texas. He came to Hardeman County in 1941 from Amarillo. He was married to Ruth Wines Sept. 28, 1933 in Sunset, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a mason.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Quanah; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne Greening of Quanah; one son, Melvin Musgrove of Fort Worth, and two grandchildren, Ann Greening of Quanah and Michael Greening of San Angelo.

Pallbearers will be Jim Sowell, Laurence Powell, L. E. Ross, Robert Becknell, Tom Clevenger and Jeff Tidmore.
