(21 Jun 1923 - 30 Dec 2004)

January 2, 2005, The Ashland Daily Tidings, Ashland, Oregon: Edith H. Hosier left for heaven on Thursday, December 30, 2004 to go find her husband, Albert L. Hosier, who got there before her on the 28th of March, 2003. Heavenly Father has joined their hands together again; how grateful we are to know that families are forever. She had moved in with her eldest daughter Helen Ann Chandler in Central Point in the middle of October and was lucky enough to die at home surrounded by all three of her children and other family members. She is survived by two daughters Helen Ann Chandler of Central Point, Oregon. Ida Louise Hosier of Las Vegas, Nevada and one son Mike Hosier of Shady Cove, Oregon. She was preceded in death by one brother Floyd Snyder of Kankakee, Illinois, during WWII and by a sister Patricia Waring of Medford, Oregon. She is survived by a sister Dorothy Thompson of San Bruno, California and one brother Elmer "Duke" Snyder of Brookings, Oregon.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grand children. She was retired and enjoyed doing crafts and visiting with friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Rogue Valley Dialysis Center.
