Lois Flossie Stryker

Lois Flossie Stryker, fifth child of Glenn Elmo and Grace Rose (Carpenter) Stryker, was born 29 October 1912 in Butler Co., Nebr. She removed with her parents to Custer Co., Nebr. in 1919 and there married Donald McFate, b. 31, July 1911 in Custer County, son of Joseph Demont McFate and Myrtle Lemon and brother of Alvaretta McFate who married Lois' brother Elmo. They resided on a farm left to him by his father, raising mostly beef cattle. Donald died 21 October 1966 of leukemia and was buried at Stop Table Cemetery, Custer Co., Nebr. He was a devout Christian man. They had two children: Monte Joe McFate and Grace Ann McFate. The full information on Monte and Grace's families is not posted here for privacy reasons.
