Edith I. Seronello Nov. 2, 1920 ~ Jan. 31, 2010 Resident of Livermore Born Edith Irene Green in San Francisco CA, Edie was raised by her father Fred Green in Oakland, where she met her husband Frank T. Seronello at Sweets Ballroom. Both Edith and Frank worked at the Naval Supply Center, Oakland. After moving to Walnut Creek in 1952, Edith worked at Crocker Bank, Aerojet, the Navy Dept. In Saigon, VietNam during the VN War and she retired from the Naval Weapons Station in Concord. Edith loved dancing, sewing, crafts, collecting shinny "bling", and especially traveling. Edith and Frank spent over 20 years RVing with many friends and relatives around the US, Canada, and Mexico. In 2005 they moved to Heritage Estates, Livermore where they made many new friends. Frank passed in June 2006. Edith continued enjoying her friends and activities "Heristates", her PT Cruiser convertible, and her family. Edith finally surrendered to a year plus internal illness which never dulled her spirit for the joy of life and the next coming day! Edith is survived by oldest son Frank Jr. & wife Valerie; grandson Brian & wife Mikaela & their new son Roman, all in Livermore; granddaughter Diana & her children Brieanna & Tyler of Texas; and youngest son Larry, wife Susan, & grandsons Jared & Evan, all in Pacheco CA. At Edith's request there were no services. A special thanks to friend Al, caregiver Annie, Kaiser Hospital staff, and Hope Hospice for all of their help and care. Edith had a big smile, a warm personality, and shared the wisdom of her years - all will be missed. So long "Edie"!
