Sadie B. Palmer

Lewiston Morning Tribune, Lewiston, Idaho, Wednesday, September 8, 1999: Missoula, Mont. -- Sadie Milward, mother of a Clarkston resident, died of cancer Aug. 30 at Hospice House here. She was 82. She married Lee Milward in 1938 and they moved to Missoula. She and her husband were foster parents to more than 500 children through Lutheran Social Services at Missoula. Her husband died in November 1997. Survivors include three daughters, Sherry Folk of Clarkston, Karla Kaighn and Lori Horner, both of Missoula; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service was held Friday and memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or a hospice center.
