Silva---Services for Mrs. Mary Mollie Wilkes, 74-year-old resident of this community, who died in Lutheran Hospital in St. Louis Sunday, will be held at 2 this afternoon in the General Baptist Church at Silva. She was born March 2, 1883 and in 1900 was married to Norman Rose. In 1956 she was married to George Buford Wilkes, who survives. Also surviving are two sons Benton and Willard Rose, both of St. Louis; three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Leach and Mrs. Verna Strickland, both of Silva, and Mrs. Mary Martin of Lemay, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four brothers, Thomas and Elmo Allen, both of St. Louis, Arthur Allen of Greenville and Sherman Allen of Poplar Bluff. Services will be conducted by the Rev. L. A. Davis. Burial will be in Camp Eight cemetery under direction of Gish Funeral Home.
