Brown, 83, of 2626 Simmons, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Elliott's Chapel of Memories. Dr. Ronald Prince, pastor of University Baptist church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. F. H. Cole and M. F. Richardson, both retired Baptist preachers. Burial will be in Content Cemetery. Born at Comfort, Sept. 8, 1880, he married Jennie Bell Aycock in crews, Nov. 20, 1912. He moved to Content in 1901 and farmed. He moved to Abilene in 1946. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. D. B. McComb of Victoria and Mrs. Zuma Ham of Dallas, one son, Caleb Jr. of Ballinger, two sisters, Mrs. Cordelia McFall of 642 Victoria and Mrs. N. L. Gentry of Weatherford; and five grandchildren. He had been sick for the past year. Pallbearers will be Britton McMillion, Lawn; Oran B. Mauldin, Oscar Jolly, Joe Smith, L. D. Fielder and H. C. McMahan, all of Abilene. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Builders Sunday School Class of University Baptist Church, including Henry Bright, W. L. Morris and Dr. George Dawson.
