Obituary from The Chillicothe Constitution, Chillicothe, Missouri, November 7, 1927: Charles Burlin Price was born in Potsdam, N. Y. April 18th 1855 and died at his home in Avalon, October 28th 1937.He came West when a young man, and for a number of years resided in Kansas and from there moved to Avalon where he had lived the past 27 years. Twenty-six years ago he was married to Miss Fannie B. Seitter of near Plymouth, Missouri. To this union was born one son, Russell, who died about four years ago. Mr. Price was well known to all the people here, a part of the time farming but later retiring from active life. funeral services were conducted Lord's day afternoon, October 30th, to a large and sympathetic congregation from the text, "What is man?" after which all that was mortal was consigned to mother earth, in the Avalon cemetery, to wait the Trumpet blast of God.
