The Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas, Monday, July 3, 1967, page 6B: Mrs. Bessie Mae Crow Kirkpatrick, Aged 58, of Route 3, Little Rock, the wife of Frank W. Kirkpatrick, died Sunday. She had been a member of the Ferndale Assembly of God Church for 30 years. Other survivors are four sons, Thomas E., M. A., and Jackie Lynn Kirkpatrick all of Little Rock, and J. L. Kirkpatrick of Stuttgart; two brothers, Wesley Wilkerson and Ira M. Crow, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Mills and Mrs. Viola Renard, all of Little Rock; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral arrangements will be announced by North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Follow-up article published Tuesday, July 4, 1967, page 9B: Funeral for Mrs. Bessie Kirkpatrick, aged 58, of Route 3, who died Sunday, wife of Frank W. Kirkpatrick, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ferndale Assembly of God Church by Rev. Ray Fields and Rev. Paul Graves. Pallbearers will be Floyd Taylor, Noah Graves, Robert Bandy, Wayne Grimmett, Jack Faulkner and Fred Stillman. Burial will be at Ida Mission Cemetery by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
