Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas,Saturday, January 11, 1936, Page 14, Col. 3: Mrs. Eula Kirkpatrick, 38, of Ferndale, Pulaski county, died at 2 p.m. Friday in a Little Rock hospital. She is survived by her husband, L. J. Kirkpatrick; two sons, James and Ben Kirkpatrick; three daughters, the Misses Vila, Selma and Wilma Kirkpatrick; her mother, Mrs. Isa Gates, and three brothers, John, Millard and Ike Gates, all of Ferndale, and three sisters, Mrs. Buena Stillman of North Little Rock and Mrs. William Stevens and Miss Nancy Gates, both of Ferndale. Funeral services will be held at the Ferndale Baptist church at 10 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Lee Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Cove Spring cemetery near Ferndale in charge of P. H. Ruebel & Co.
