Midland Reporter-Telegram, Midland, Texas, Tuesday, October 17, 2006: Stanton -- Wanda Aycock, 78, of Stanton died Sunday, Oct. 15, in a Midland hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel in Stanton with Mike Cude, nephew officiating. She was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Cochise County, Arizona and married Johnny V. Aycock Aug. 3, 1955 in Lovington, New Mexico. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Christadelphian Ecclesia. Survivors include two sisters, Clarene Hillger of Stanton and Jonelle Hughes of Sand Springs; two granddaughters; one grandson; two great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Aycock; one grandson; four sisters, Beth Wallace, Ann Cude, Edna Williams, and Bobbie Jean Glendening; three brothers, William, Melton and Noel Glendeing.
