The Pittsburg Daily Headlight, Pittsburg, Kansas, Monday, January 11, 1909, Page 4: Death Of Mrs. Widner, An Old Resident of Pittsburg Died of Old Age. Mrs. Anna Widner, a widow, 79 years old and a member of an old and highly respected Crawford county family, died of old age and general debility at midnight Saturday night at her home, 101 West Monroe avenue. She leaves four daughters and two sons. Her husband died in this city June 18th, 1896. The daughters are: Mrs. J. B. Selder, Nashville, Mo., Mrs. T.T. Neidham, Lamar, Mo.; Mrs. C. L. Baird, Auburn, Ind.; Mrs. Katie Briggs, Pittsburg. The sons are Henry and John Widner of this city. The funeral services conducted by Rev. L. C. Reed, pastor of the United Brethren church, was held from the home at 10 o'clock this morning. The body was buried in the family lot at Oakton, six miles from Lamar, Mo.
