A brother Glenn and sister Blanche were born earlier and died in infancy. Hazel married Noah Herbert Defabaugh on Oct 15, 1917 in Lincoln Co. Herb and Hazel were the parents of five children: Cleda Mae Defabaugh Klett Tipton, Norma Jean Defabaugh Davis, Glenna Faye Defabaugh Timm, Delores Jeanette Defabaugh Drazey, and Sharon Rae Defabaugh (Sharon died at birth in 1939).
