Services for longtime Antioch resident Lowell Delbert Ham will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Higgins Funeral Chapel in Antioch, followed by burial at Oak View Memorial Park. Mr. Ham, 81, died Wednesday in Delta Memorial Hospital in Antioch after a long illness. He was born in Missouri, where he married Eula Moore. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 22. Mr. and Ham and his wife moved to Antioch in 1943. He worked for Dow Chemical Co., until retiring in 1953. He then started his own gardening business, retiring for the second time in 1973. In addition to his wife, survivors include his sons, Vernon L. Hamm of Colorado and Herman L. Hamm of Fresno; three daughters, Audrey Raulstone [Raulston] of Paso Robles, Freida N. Mosley of San Jose and Thula Keith of Antioch; a brother and sister, Archie C. Smith and Zelmas P. Wright, both of Missouri; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. The family prefers contributions to the First Missionary Baptist Church, 512 Texas St., Antioch, or the American Heart Association.
