She was born in Chicago, January 29, 1925 to Louis F. and Frances C. Weeks. She had a A.B. and M.A. in library and information science. She was a librarian in Cecil County, Elkton, Md. She was educated at the College of St. Rose, Albany Academy and Green Island Schools. She was BOCES School Library Coordinator for Albany-Schoharie-Schenectady Counties. She was the ultimate modern woman at an early age. She was a mentor, an inspiration and a role model. She was caring and thoughtful, sensitive and loving, intelligent and charming, elegant, alluring and attractive. She was full of interest and energy. She loved her garden and was a master gardener. Mrs. Reese loved her home and was an expert decorator. She loved the arts and was a life-long supporter and collector. She loved to read and spent her working years as a librarian, and above all she loved her family and friends. We are grateful for all the good wishes sent to her during her illness as they bolstered her spirits. She is survived by her husband, William L. Reese II; daughters, Claudia and Patricia; son, William L. III; grandchildren, Jordan and Taylor. She touched people in many ways. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Master Gardeners Memory garden, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany.
