The Arizona Republic, August 11, 2010: Reese, Gail Lewis, 94, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully at the Ryan Home on August 4, 2010. Born in Mountain View, Missouri on November 30, 1915. Graduated from Ottawa University where he met his wife Glenva Horrell. Gail and Glenva were married 56 years. They moved from Kansas to Phoenix in 1946. Gail was an Engineer with AiResearch Manufacturing Company for over 30 years. Gail was a man of strong principles and ethics, valued his family and served his church faithfully. He was an athlete and an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed playing basketball, tennis and pool. He loved camping and riding motorcycles. He was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. Survivors include daughter Phyllis, sons Donald and Robert, daughters-in-law Lanni and Mary, grandchildren Beth Mesquita (Roy), Robert Tucker (Lori), Chris Reese (Andrea), David Reese (Megan), Michael Reese, Deana Miller (Carl), Tiffeny Reese (Stanley Jurewicz), and great-grandchildren Carson Miller, Samuel, Gabriel, Rachel, Nicholas and Alexandra. Services will be at 10 am, Friday, August 13, 2010 at Crossroad United Methodist Church, 7901 N. Central Ave. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
