Posted at findagrave.com: The funeral service for Thomas Marshall, 76, who died Saturday at his home in Grant township, will be held Tuesday at the Welter Funeral Home at 2 pm. The Rev. Erling Erickson will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Kuntz Jr., Joseph Lucklum, John Richards, William Schwartz, W.K. Dammier and Chris Marcus. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday afternoon or evening. A native of Norfolk, Neb., Marshall was born June 14, 1893, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Marshall. He came to the Huron area in 1905 and farmed here since. He married Elsie Haas in 1920. He served in the US Army in World War I. Survivors include his widow, Elsie; one daughter, Mrs. Vern (Gladys) Rohrabaugh, Huron; one granddaughter, Mrs. Buford (Jacqueline) Gunnoe, Hawaiian Gardens, Calif.; one great granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Lottie DeLong, Arlington, Calif.
