Bill Moss Aycock

The Arizona Daily Star, Tucson, Arizona, Friday, April 2, 2004: Aycock, Bill M., passed away on March 31, 2004. He was born in Snyder, Oklahoma, December 16, 1916, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1939. He married Evangeline Ross in 1942, who predeceased him in 1979. Bill worked for the Allison Division of General Motors in Indianapolis for 37 years, coming to Arizona in 1981, where he once again pursued the sport of polo. He married Norabeth Smith in 1982. He is survived by wife, Norabeth Smith Aycock; sisters, Susan Turnbull and Bessie Jo Bulla; children, Susan Williams (Mike) and Michael Aycock (Rose), and stepson, Rick Smith (Pat). Visitation will be Saturday, April 3, at 1030 a.m. in the Patagonia Community Church with funeral services at 1100 a.m. The eulogy will be delivered by Buck Clark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Santa Cruz County Cowbelles' Ranchers' Heritage Center, care of Posey Piper, P.O. Box 647, Patagonia, AZ 85624.
