Burnis William Lee

The Kansas City Star, Kansas City, Missouri, Sunday, March 29, 1992: Burnis W. Lee, 68, Gladstone, died March 27, 1992, at North Kansas City Hospital. He was born in Sheppard, Mo., and lived in Mountain View, Mo., before moving to Kansas City in 1947. Mr. Lee was a welder for the General Motors Fairfax assembly plant for 30 years, retiring in 1979. He attended the North Oak Chapel Assembly of God. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Lee of the home; five sons, Dwayne Lee, Kansas City, Mark Lee, Boston, the Rev. Kenneth Lee, St. Louis, Garry Lee, Raytown, and Ronald Lee, Lee's Summit; two daughters, Wanda Kesler, Valley Center, Kan., and Sheryl Wettsteim, Liberty; three brothers, Eugene Lee, Silva, Mo., and Lindle Lee, Rose Hill, N.C., and Louie Lee, De Kalb, Ill; and six sisters, Irene Tune, Summersville, Mo., Ellene Hall, Tempe, Ariz., and Geneva Young, Wilma Haeffner and Ilene Stover, all of Sycamore, Ill. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel; burial in the Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 6:30 p.m. today at the chapel.
