Marriage of Mrs. Christena Brisco, June 15, 1948, Council Bluffs Nonpareil. Mrs. Brisco is Saturday Bride. In a simple home ceremony Saturday evening at the Karl A. Rauth home, Mrs. Christena Brisco became the bride of Mr. Cecil M. Beckwith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dolk. The Rev. Mills of Omaha officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Jens Petersen of Omaha were the only attendants. The bride wore a navy blue emberg sheath with white accessories and a corsage of gardenias and roses. Mrs. Petersen wore a similar frock with gardenia corsage. After the ceremony the bride cut the cake and her sister, Mrs. T. J. Tingley, poured. For the past year, while employed at the J. C. Penney Co. in Omaha, the bride and her daughter, Suzann have been making their home with her parents here. Mr. Beckwith is employed by the Union Pacific Railroad headquarters in Omaha. On completion of their wedding trip, after July 1, the Beckwiths will be at home at 422 Damon Street.

At a simple double ring ceremony Monday evening in Bethany Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Christena Brisco and Hiram Inscho exchanged nuptial vows. The Rev. Robert Howard, minister at Bethany, read the service.

Only immediate families of the two were present. A family party was held later at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. A. Rauth. For the wedding the bride wore a tailored navy blue dress with corsage of white carnations. Her attendant, Mr. E. Lee Stephen, wore a similar frock but with a corsage of pink carnations. Burl Starr was best man. Assisting the Rauths as hostesses were the bride's daughter, Miss Suzann Brisco, and her sister, Mrs. Thomas Tingley. Mr. and Mrs. Inscho are at home at 1716 Avenue L.

Daily Nonpareil, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Thursday, March 3, 1960, Page 2, Col. 4: Mrs. Christena Maria Rauth Inscho, 51, 1811 S. 6th St., died Friday at her home following a lengthy illness. A native of Chicago, she was a Council Bluffs resident 35 years. Mrs. Inscho was a member of Bethany United Presbyterian Church. She also belonged to Unity Rebekah Lodge 388, Oakleaf camp 3042, Royal Neighbors of America, and the Ladies Patriarch Militant of Gen. Dodge Canton 16, IOOF. Survivors include: husband, Hiram M.; daughter, Mrs. Suzann Ellrott; sister, Mrs. Lucy Tingley; and father, Karl A. Rauth, all of Council Bluffs; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Woodring Chapel. The Rev. Robert G. Plagge, pastor of Bethany Church, will officiate. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery*.
