Burial will be in Pinal Cemetery. Born in Dublin, Ar., she had lived in Arizona 27 years, the past 16 in Miami. She was the widow of the late Dr. Marshall E. Burgess, who died in 1953. She belonged to the Emblem Club. Survivors include two sons, Dr. Roy Burgess of Phoenix, and Carl Burgess of Rapid City, S. D.; and a daughter Miss Glen Dean Burgess, Anchorage, Alaska; her mother, Mrs. M. E. Cowan, Clarksville, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Lewis of Clarksville and Mrs. Bertha Russell of Russellville, Ark.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Movie Actress Lana Turner is a niece of Mrs. Burgess.
