Mount Pleasant News, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Monday, November 24, 1975, Page 11, Col. 1: Craig Wilmeth, 69, died at his home, 607 N. Jackson, Sunday morning, Nov. 23, 1975. The son of George and Anna Craig Wilmeth, he was born April 27, 1906 at Salem. Mr. Wilmeth worked for 25 years as field man for the Southeast Iowa Cooperative Electric Association. Recently he had worked as desk man for the Mt. Pleasant Police Department. He was past master of the Salem Masonic Lodge No. 17. He was married to Wilma Garretson who survives. Also surviving are one son and one daughter, Garry of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. James (Jean) Martin of Alexandria, Va., five grandchildren. One grandson preceded him in death. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Salem Friends Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Matheus will officiate. Friends who desire may contribute to the Heart Fund in memory of Mr. Wilmeth in keeping with the wishes of the family, the casket will remain closed. Friends may call at the Crane-Ewart-Young Funeral Home as they desire to sign the register.
