The Telegraph, Nashua, New Hampshire, Friday, March 9, 2012: Frances P. Tocher, 90, resident of Milford, NH, died March 7, 2012 at Crestwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Milford. She was born in Winthrop, MA on May 20, 1921, a daughter of Shanly and Frances (Colbert) Curtin. Mrs. Tocher resided in Milford for the past five years and formerly lived in Fort Pierce, FL for over 20 years. She was raised and educated in Nahant and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Lynn, MA. Mrs. Tocher had been employed as a bookkeeper for Greenerd Press & Machine Company. She enjoyed golfing, painting and playing bridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Duncan Tocher, who died in 2001. Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, George B. and Nancy A. Tocher of Mont Vernon, NH; several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 13th from 4:00-6:30 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 pm. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery, Milton, MA at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 1 Montgomery Avenue, Nashua, NH 03060. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford.
