She was a native of Harmony and a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, G. C. Porter; five sons, John G. Porter of Farmington, James Joseph Porter of Clarksville, Wilson E. Porter of Booneville and Robert Hill Porter and Tom B. Porter of California; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Church of Texas and Mrs. Helen Hill of Georgia; three brothers, Rev. Robert L. King and W. Ernest King of Clarksville and Dr. R. E. King of Harmony; three sisters, Mrs. Virgie Laster of Clarksville, Mrs. Ella Porter of Harmony, and Mrs. Lemmie Stephens of Hartman; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
