Mrs. Alice Ruth Kirkpatrick died suddenly at Mulkeytown last Sunday afternoon. Funeral services were held from the Christian Church in Mulkeytown, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Burkitt of this city, Elsie Hocking of Fairfield and Anna Rentfro of Mulkeytown; four sons also survive; they are L. N. Kirkpatrick of Granite City, Harley of this city, T. F. of Seattle, Wash., and Edley of DuQuoin.
