Survivors include his daughter, Roberta Simpson of La Mesa; sister, Vera Foster of Port Authur, Texas; three grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, El Camino Mortuary, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego. Donations: Please contact the family.
