She was born in Marianna, the daughter of the late James Penn Brown, one of the county's early lawyers, and had lived here all her life. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. She is survived by her husband, four sons, Brown of Leachville and Charles, John and James Pilkington, and three sisters, Mrs. John Bellamy, Mrs. David Plummer and Mrs. Joy Hardaway. funeral services will be held Tuesday by the Rev. A. Killough.
