Joplin Globe, Joplin, Missouri, Saturday, July 8, 1967, Page 3, Col. 2: Liberal, Mo.---Mrs. Daisy Miller, 55 years old, of Liberal, died in Barton County Memorial hospital in Lamar, at 11:30 o'clock Friday morning. She had been a patient in the hospital since July 4. She had lived in the Liberal community eight years and was a member of the Church of God Prophecy. Surviving are three sons, Danny L. Miller, of Lawrence, Kan., Ernest L. Miller of Liberal and Bobby Dean Miller of Liberal; two step daughters, Mrs. Goldie Weaver of Arcadia, Kan., and Mrs. Nadine Goodrich of Nenexa, Kan.; one stepson, Albert Miller, Jr., Longton, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Pike of Amoret, Mo; one brother, Robert Garner of Butler, Mo.; a half brother Jess Cuzick of Great Bend, Kan.; two half sisters, Mrs. Lillian Allen of Kansas City, Mo. and Mrs. Elizabeth Gray of Cheyenne, Wyo., and three grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Church of God Prophecy of Liberal. The Rev. Richard Talbott will officiate. burial will be in Sheffield cemetery near Arcadia, Kan. under direction of Bruce-Konantz of Lamar.
