Born Oct 30, 1913 in Breathitt County, KY, Edna was a devoted daughter of the late Owen and Elizabeth (nee Deaton) Moore. She was the beloved wife of the late William Hobart Haddix. Edna was the loving mother of Lance (Madelynn) Haddix of Marina del Rey, CA, dear grandmother of Chase (Toni) Haddix and Buck Nathan Haddix, and great grandmother of Sarah and Lizzie Haddix. Edna was the eldest sister of the late Zada (the late James Rufus) Trice and the late Imojean (the late Virgil) Hash, and is survived by two nephews, J.R. Trice and Kinny R. Hounshell and two nieces, Martha Irene (Warren) Shull and Mary Elizabeth Trice. Edna attended Berea College, Berea, KY. She and her husband, William "Bill" (d. October 27, 2003) resided in Grosse Pointe, MI. William Hobart Haddix, was born in Breathitt County, KY, on Sep 2, 1913 and was the loving son of the late Tom and Mary (nee Allen) Haddix. Bill was the devoted husband of Edna (nee Moore) Haddix and loving father of Lance (Madelynn) Haddix of Marina del Rey, CA, and beloved grandfather of Chase (Toni) Haddix and Buck Nathan Haddix. Bill was the dear brother of the late Eula (the late Ebert) Smith and is survived by two nephews, J.R. Trice and Kinny R. Hounshell and two nieces Martha Irene (Warren) Shull and Mary Elizabeth Trice. Bill attended the University of Kentucky and retired as Distribution Manager for General Motors. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date honoring both Edna and Bill. Serving the family Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, Walled Lake, MI.
