Isabelle "Belle" M. Juneau

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sunday, February 27, 1949, Page 36, Col. 2: Mrs. Belle Juneau Hathaway, 78, of 709 E. Juneau av, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John P. Gesser, 2607 E. Shorewood blvd., after an illness of six months. Mrs. Hathaway was a grandniece of Solomon Juneau, pioneer here and first mayor of Milwaukee. Surviving are a daughter, Jean; a brother William J. Juneau, former University of Wisconsin football coach, and three sisters, Mrs. Mathilda Kissinger, Mary and Maude Juneau, all of Milwaukee. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Feerick funeral home, 2025 E. Capitol dr., and at 10 a.m. at St. Robert's church, 2200 E. Capitol dr. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday.
