He was born in Wichita and lived in this area until 1942, when he moved to Tucson. Mr. Dennis owned George Dennis Realty in Tucson before he retired. He had worked for Woolf Brothers in Kansas City. He was a member of St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church, Tucson, and a past member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Margaret Dennis of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Jeannette Brent, La Jolla, Calif., Mrs. Ruth Sawyer, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Julia Whitney, Los Angeles; two step daughters, Mrs. Susan Prasciunas, Tucson, and Mrs. Margo Smolarski, Istanbul, Turkey; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Services and burial were in Tucson. The family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association.
