Fisk married Melvina Roberts, daughter of Jefferson and Helen (Turner) Roberts, before 1810. Melvina was born about 1832. On the 1850 census she was 18 years old and living in Jackson County, Tennessee; Melvina died after 1910.
Fisk Kirkpatrick served during the Civil War in Company C, 1st Confederate Calvary.
