The wife of the first electrical contractor to come to corona died yesterday afternoon following a long illness. Mrs. Belle Fraser of 178 Howard St., who came to California from Minnesota at the turn of the century was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Fraser in 1957. She was a past matron of the Crown Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Fraser was also a president of and one of the founders of the Women's Improvement Club. In her younger days, she was active in the PTA and a member of the First Congregational Church. Besides four grandchildren and three great grandchildren, she is survived by one brother, Walter S. Clayson of Corona; two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Carroll of Corona and Mrs. Florence Stark of Grass Valley. Private services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at the Thomas Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. C. Fred Hutslar of the First Congregational Church presiding. Interment will follow at the Sunnyslope Cemetery, Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday.
