Visitation is 6-8 tonight at Hartley Funeral Home. Mr. Adams died October 8, 2002. Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Hunter and Eula Sowell Adams. He served in the U.S. Army and had retired from Springs Industries. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Betty Caskey Adams; son, Kevin Adams; daughter, Anita Gohde; brothers, Joseph, Thomas Adams; sister, Betty Pittman; grands, Kelsey, Anna, Patrick, Haley, Alyssa.
