From Find-A-Grave.com: Hal C. Ransom, age 87, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006, at his home in Nashua, youngest child of Harry Caleb & Kitty (Cory) Ransom. Hal married Lynn J. Ableiter in 1940, and to this union four sons were born. She passed away May 1, 1995, after 57 years of marriage. He later married Barbara Bayne of Houston, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Barbara. Three sons and daughter-in-laws; Hal (Jack) & Anne Ransom of Edina, MN, Michael J. & Nanette Ranson of Trinity Center, CA, Greg & Nhu Quynh Ransom of Houston, TX, and Renee Ransom, also of Houston. His sister, Susan Hanright of Nashua. Six grandchildren; Cathy, Rollin, Brienna, Stacy, Ryan and Sara. Two great-granddaughters; Hannah Catherine and Elizabeth Anne. Hall was preceded in death by his youngest son, Scott Patrick. His parents. Brothers; Lowell, Cale, and Paul. Sisters; Caroline Ransom, Gladys Strike, and Kathleen Allen. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Inurnment at Oak Hill Cemetery both in Nashua.
