Roselle Herald, Roselle, Illinois, Tuesday, January 9, 1973, Page 4, Col. 2: Gerald E. Ableiter, 51, of 522 S. Elmhurst Ave., Mount Prospect, a staff assistant of special accounts for Sears and Roebuck and Co., with 22 years of service, died Sunday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, after an extended Illness. Mr. Ableiter, a member of National Association of Accountants, was born April 1, 1911, in Nashua, Iowa. Visitation is today in Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mount Prospect, from 2 p.m. until time of funeral services at 8 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Harvey Neuman of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mount Prospect. However visitation will continue tonight until 10 p.m. Burial will be tomorrow in Oakhill Cemetery, Nashua, Iowa. Surviving are his widow, Gertrude, nee Gange; mother, Mrs. Laurel V. (the late Dr. E. A. ) Ableiter of Nashua, Iowa, and two sisters, Mrs. Gwen Mooneyham of Chicago and Mrs. Madelyn (Hal) Ransom of Moorestown, N. J. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
