Ken was born September 20, 1921 in Webster Groves to parents James P. and Alice Parker Yadon. His father was the fire chief of Webster Groves and retired in 1961; his uncle, Ovid, was the chief of police. Ken joined the Air Force in WWII and proudly served his country for 22 years with the U.S. Air Force Security Service in Communications-Electronics. He was stationed in Germany, Alaska, Panama, Japan and Brazil, where he taught the use and maintenance of teletype and crypto equipment. Private memorial service.
