Kerrville Daily Times, Kerrville, Texas, Tuesday, July 9, 2013: San Antonio---George Ann Aycock, 68, of Bandera, Texas, lost her battle with Leukemia on Monday, July 8, 2013. George Ann was surrounded by loved ones in her final moment and is now resting with her Savior Jesus Christ. She was born to Bill and Evelyn Poole on Aug. 16, 1944, in Robstown, Texas. She married her soulmate, Bobby Aycock, on Aug. 24, 1967, and celebrated 45 years of marriage together. George Ann graduated from Alice High School and pursued a career in banking. She worked as a banker her entire life, retiring from Wells Fargo in 2012 as a risk operations officer in their trust department. George Ann dedicated her life to the service of God and the building of his kingdom. She was a faithful and active member of churches in Alice, Ozona, Kerrville and Bandera. George Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Poole; and her father, Bill Poole. George Ann is survived by her husband, Bobby Aycock; daughter, Karise Richardson and her husband, Steve Richardson; sons, Bo Aycock and his wife, Bonnie Aycock and Bill Aycock and his wife, Ronda Aycock; stepdaughter, Sherry Quellhorst and her husband, Bill Quellhorst; stepson, Bobby Aycock Jr.; sisters, Prissy Urban, Cyndy Zachry and Patty Foster; mother, Evelyn Poole; 12 grandchildren; and numerous cousins. A celebration honoring George Ann's life will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at the Kerrville Church of Christ, 1900 Loop 534, in Kerrville. George Ann's family openly invites anyone who would to join them in remembering the life of this loving wife, caring mother and dedicated servant of God.
