Elsie Ora Norman Drinville, of Torrance, California, died May 15, 2006. She had lived in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County for about 50 years. She was born August 22, 1910 in Killeen, Texas. Elsie was a longtime member of Narbonne Ave. Baptist Church, aka "The Bay", the Fellowship of South Bay, in Lomita, California. Following May 23, 2006 services at Gamby Mortuary Chapel, she was buried at Green Hills Memorial Park.

Elsie was survived by children, Rev. Bobbie Dale Aycock, Delphine Aycock McWaid, Mildred Marline Aycock Thorington, Tommie Valton Aycock, & Rev. Larry Glen Aycock; 19 grandchildren, & numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Doris Laverne Aycock Dotson in 2004.
