Hill died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Riverton Memorial Hospital.Memorial services were held at Davis Funeral Home in Riverton. Margaret Mary "Peggy" Gleason was born in Platte Center. She and her husband, Ray lived in Douglas, Wyo., after their marriage and moved back to Platte Center in 1960. Peggy worked at Becton-Dickinson in Columbus until she retired in 1986 after 25 years of service. Her husband died in 1975. She later moved back to Wyoming and settle in Riverton. She had been employed at Wal-Mart since it opened in 1991. Her family said Peggy enjoyed people and spent a lot of her life helping others. She always gave her grandchildren unique gifts and loved being with them. She liked quilting, crafts and other hobbies. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Dubois Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and St. Margaret's Catholic Church. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Carol (Joe) Topil of Rising City, Polly (Jerry) Jaworski of Longmont, Colo., Trudy of Vermillion, S.D.; sons, Albert "Bud" and Jesse of Riverton, Pat of Kasllof, Alaska, and J.D. of Vermillion; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, John "Jack" Gleason of Columbus; and sisters, Geraldine Gleason of Columbus and Kathleen Sharp of Vero Beach, Fla. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Howard, Lawrence and Earl; sister, Clara Finley; and great-grandson, Zach. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2003 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
