Joplin Globe, Joplin Missouri, Wednesday, August 16, 1989, Page 27, Col. 6: Carthage, Mo.---Lester Earl Primm, 68, Baring, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at a Kirksville hospital after a short illness. he was the father of Dale Primm, Carthage. Mr. Primm was born Dec. 29, 1920 in Knox County. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Colony Baptist Church, Colony. He married Mary Jane Kirkpatrick on Aug. 3, 1942. She survives. Additional survivors include two sons, Norman Primm and Chester Primm, both of Colony; two daughters, Lola Jane Raines, Canton, and Jean Schwedler, Newport News, Va.; one brother, Leroy Primm, Edina; and 13 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, Edina. The Rev. Archie Cooper will officiate. Burial will be in the Colony Cemetery, Colony. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
