Lockie Campbell

Posted at findagrave.com: Mrs. Lockie Campbell Prince, aged 70, widow of former county judge Oscar E. Prince, died in St. Bernard's Hospital early Saturday morning [July 19, 1958]. Mrs. Prince suffered a broken hip in a fall at her home about three weeks before her death and this combined with a heart condition and complications caused her death. She was born at Smithville, Lawrence County, Feb. 17, 1888, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John D. Campbell. She was married to Mr. Prince in May, 1914 and most of their married life had been lived on Route One, Pocahontas. She was a devout member of the Church of Christ and had been active in church and community affairs for many years. Judge Prince died on Aug. 8, 1956 and she had maintained her home at their farm near Surridge since that time.
